Rachel started tutoring informally while she was getting her degree in Business/Economics at the University of California in Los Angeles in 2002. She was approached by a woman who was looking for a French tutor for her son and decided to give it a try.

She showed a natural aptitude for teaching and was then referred several times. She began teaching on a regular basis French, Math, Economics, Accounting and Statistics to English speakers as well as English to French speakers.

After she graduated she continued teaching along her day job as a consultant. In 2005 Rachel decided to focus 100% on teaching French because she was seeing excellent results and wanted to further develop her educational method. She also taught French, English, Economics, Accounting, and Business Law at middle and high school levels in Switzerland.

She has worked with over 400 students and therefore has extensive teaching experience.

Rachel is currently pursuing a Masters in Psychology. Her studies in psychology are helping her develop a finely tuned perspective on different learning processes and pedagogy with students.

Patient and encouraging, she has obtained excellent results with all her students. She has always enjoyed teaching and tries to communicate her passion for the French language and culture to everyone she meets.
